| Biography:
|
My trail name is BirdShooter, and I do most of my hiking in the Southeastern U.S. in the states of Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. My first major backpacking trip was in 1983 at the Philmont National Scout Ranch in New Mexico where we completed a fifty mile loop hike in twelve days. This was the catalyst for my interest in the sport and I have made numerous trips into the wilderness since - including a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in 1994. |
